His accounting background includes the food services, healthcare, manufacturing, property management, and social services industries. Ray has earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. He continued his education in Accounting and Management. In addition to his education, Ray holds the Accredited Business Accountant, Certified Accounting Analyst, Certified Accounts Payable Professional, Certified Payroll Specialist, and Certified QuickBooks Advisor designations.

Ray's professional experience encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, financial reporting, inventory control, and payroll. Outside of Lawhorn Accounting, he is a Corporate Controller for a manufacturing firm in Lawrence, Indiana.
